The KDF/Catalytic Carbon Filters in the first item can reduce iron, sulfur, chlorine, chloramines and heavy metals. It is ideal for city or well water, and does not allow microbes to breed in the filter due to its bacteriostatic qualities. This filter is double the standard green carbon filter, and comes in different sizes.
The second item, Hydrologic Big Boy Pleated Cleanable Sediment Filter, has an ultra-high capacity to remove 90% of sediment. Its filter capacity is 25,000 gallons, and can be easily cleaned with a brush or hand wash.
The third item is the Hydro-Logic Big Boy - Carbon Filter - Green - Coconut, which is a carbon block pre-filter that reduces chlorine, organic chemicals, VOCs, mercury, lead, PBCs, sulfur and heavy metals. It also comes in different sizes.
