Description
MICROBE-LIFT/BMC is a liquid product designed for use in decorative water gardens, fountains and areas where standing water exists. It effectively kills developing mosquitoes before they can become breeding, biting adults, including those that may transmit West Nile Virus, Equine Encephalitis, and Heartworm Disease. Additionally, it does not harm aquatic life, fish or plants in the water, making it an ideal mosquito control solution for areas that contain water features.
One teaspoon of MICROBE-LIFT/BMC treats up to 540 square feet of water in the total water column, and its effects last up to 14 days, depending on the application site. It is easy to disperse in water and has no toxicity to non-target invertebrates or fish. Moreover, it has a significantly lower potential for the development of resistance in target insect populations than chemical larvicides, such as methoprene. It does not leave any organic or inorganic residues and can treat 2,000 gallons of water for 16 months.
