Description
Smakers for wintering birds has been developed so that so that each of the bird species that stays in the country for the winter finds suitable and energy-supplying food. Sunflower is eagerly eaten by most birds and provides a lot of energy. Similarly, peanut pieces together with oilseeds such as negro, rapeseed and linseed meet the nutritional needs of birds due to their high caloric content. The presence of wheat attracts many species of birds to feeders. Ground corn makes it an accessible food also for smaller individuals, and bird peas provide valuable protein. Raisins attract soft eaters such as blackbird, robin and fieldfare to feeders.
